Not All Burdens Are Visible
Collaboration with The Jed Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting teen and young adult emotional health and preventing suicide. The goal was to showcase the often-hidden struggles people face daily and emphasize the power of visible support. By utilizing abstract silhouettes, textured forms, and metaphorical elements to illustrate pressure, isolation, and hope.

The campaign was developed around the idea that many mental health struggles remain invisible to the people around us. Rather than relying on literal illustrations, I explored visual metaphors that could communicate emotions in a subtle but meaningful way. Abstract silhouettes, layered textures, and symbolic elements such as clocks and contrasting figures were used to represent pressure, isolation, and hope. A muted color palette helped reinforce the emotional tone of the campaign, while selective highlights directed attention to moments of connection and support. Every poster was designed to communicate a clear message while remaining visually simple and impactful.

The final poster series delivers a strong awareness campaign that encourages viewers to recognize the unseen challenges many people experience every day. Through a combination of symbolic imagery, typography, and composition, the designs communicate sensitive topics without relying on only visuals. The campaign supports The Jed Foundation's mission by promoting empathy, reducing stigma surrounding mental health, and reminding audiences that even small acts of support can make a meaningful difference.
